According to the law of Ukraine «On foreign investments regime», foreign investments may be carried out in forms of hard currency, Ukrainian currency, any movable or immovable property, securities, corporate rights, money demands, intellectual rights, rights for commercial activity realization, other valuables according to legislation of Ukraine.
Foreign investments brought to Ukraine benefit from a certain scope of preferences and guarantees.
For example:
1. imported material foreign investments are exempted from import duties;
2. all kinds of foreign investments are covered with 10 years security against change of legislation;
3. security against forced requisitioning, nationalization;
4. guarantees of damage and loss of profit compensation;
5. guarantees of free return of the brought investments;
6. guarantees of transfer of profit received in the result of foreign investing.

Agency Price for foreign investments registration in Kiev is 1500 grivnas. Besides that the foreign investment company pays the state duty for registration of foreign investment in the amount of 340 grivnas with two payment orders of 170 grivnas to the local and state budgets accordingly.

For preparation of application for foreign investments registration we need the following documents :
1. Statute of the company (notarized copy).
2. Certificate of company registration (copy certified by the company’s stamp and signature of the general manager);
3. Certificate of statistics body confirming identification code assignment to the company (copy, certified by the company’s stamp and signature of the general manager);
4. Copies of the SWIFT banking documents confirming that the investments has been brought in, certified by the company’s stamp and signature of the general manager + bank’s written confirmation of this operation;
5. Original of the payment order confirming the payment for the state registration of the foreign investment, certified both by the bank stamp and by the company’s stamp and signature of the general manager. A payment in the amount of 20 minimums of untaxed incomes for the day of registration.
6. Power of Attorney from the foreign investor giving the right of execution of functions related to the registration of foreign investments.
